The Fall Farm Tour was held October 2, 2010. Our farm offered sheep shearing, goat milking and spinning demonstrations, and offered goat milk cheese samples.

The Fall Farm Tour for 2011 will be on October 1 and will feature other farms in St. Clair County. The tours are self guided and free. Watch for details.

The kids – one buck and one doe - were born April 4, 2010.

Nigerian Dwarf Troublemaker gave birth to her trio on Thursday, March 25.

The birth was no trouble at all for Troublemaker!

The two black kids are bucks, and the gold kid is a doe.

She had 1 doe kid (on the left in pic) and 1 buck kid (on the right in pic).

Our line of Nigerian Dwarfs usually have their babies 6 to 10 days before their due date.

The trio’s dam (mother) is Alpines-N-Udders Honey Blossom.

Honey is 6 year old registered saanen and has freshened 5 times.

Honey’s sire is +*B  SGCH Wild Willow Nchant Hershey.

Honey’s dam is 3*M Behr Farms Vision Raz Ma Taz.

We are hoping to take Honey for a one day milk test so she can earn her star.

Honey gives us 2 gallons of milk per day.
